2. Scope of Educational Data Processing

Parthnex acts as a School Management ERP platform providing multi-tenant software infrastructure to educational institutions. Schools act as the primary Data Controllers for student, parent, and staff records. Parthnex processes data solely under the instruction of contracted school authorities.

• Student Information: Name, enrollment numbers, class rosters, attendance logs, exam marks, and transport bus telemetry.
• Parent/Guardian Information: Contact emails, phone numbers for SMS/WhatsApp operational alerts, and fee receipt transactions.
• Staff Information: Employee codes, teacher timetables, class diary entries, and attendance records.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies

We publish educational technology documentation, articles, and software guides on our public website (`parthnex.com`). To support our public content, we utilize Google AdSense to serve third-party advertisements.

• Use of Cookies & DART Cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on `parthnex.com`. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

4. Protection of Minors & Student Data Integrity

Parthnex strictly adheres to student privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 (India) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (United States).

• Student records are isolated in dedicated PostgreSQL database schemas protected by Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Student personal data is never monetized, rented, or shared with third-party data brokers.
• Parent/guardian consent is managed directly by contracted educational institutions during student admission onboarding.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

School administrators retain full control over data retention. Upon termination of a school's subscription agreement, all student rosters, attendance logs, and fee records are purged from production servers after a mandatory 30-day grace period unless extended backup compliance is required by law.

Parents or guardians seeking data access, rectification, or account deletion should submit written requests to their school principal or email our Data Protection Officer at privacy@parthnex.com.
